AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
