Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
