Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
