Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
