He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 And ease for me my task 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 Aaron my brother 30 Add Thou through him to my strength, 31 Let him be my partner in this task 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 And remember Thee oft. 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses. 36 And We had already conferred favor upon you another time, 37 Recall, when We indicated to your mother through inspiration: 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 When thy sister went and said: Shall I show you one who will nurse him? and we restored thee to thy mother that her eyes might be refreshed and might not sorrow. And thou didst kill a man and We delivered thee from great distress, and tried thee with a heavy trial. And thou didst tarry years among the folk of Midian. Then camest thou (hither) by (My) providence, O Moses, 40 And I chose you for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 Go both of you to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel. 43 "But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." 44 The two said:" Lord! We fear he may commit excesses against us, or transgress all bounds." 45 He said: "Have no fear. I am with you, hearing and seeing all. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each (created) thing its form and nature, and further, gave (it) guidance." 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 He said, “Their knowledge is with my Lord, (recorded) in a Book; my Lord neither strays nor forgets.” 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
