Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
