And certainly We created man of clay that gives forth sound, of black mud fashioned in shape. 26 and before him We created the jinn from smokeless fire. 27 When your Lord said to the angels: 'See, I am creating a mortal from clay of molded mud. 28 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 29 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely, 30 But Satan did not; he refused to join those who prostrated themselves. 31 God asked Iblis, "What made you not join the others in prostration?" 32 He replied, "I am not one to prostrate myself to a man whom You have created out of a clay of moulded mud." 33 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here; for thou art rejected, accursed. 34 and the curse shall be on you till the Day of Judgement!" 35 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 36 He said: So surely you are of the respited ones 37 “Till the Day of a well-known time.” 38 He said: my Lord! because Thou hast led me to err I will surely make things fairseeming unto them on the earth and will surely seduce them all: 39 except those of Your servants whom You have singled out for Yourself." 40 (To which God) said: "This way is right by Me. 41 "Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves, except those who follow you of the Ghawin (Mushrikun and those who go astray, criminals, polytheists, and evil-doers, etc.). 42 Surely Hell is the promised place for all of them." 43 It has seven gates and each gate is assigned for a certain group of people. 44
