The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
