VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other. 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 when they entered unto him, saying, 'Peace!' He said, 'Behold, we are afraid of you.' 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They replied: 'We are sent to sinful nation. 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 “Except his wife we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
