Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 excepting the folk of Lot; them we shall deliver 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
