"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 There, no fatigue shall smite them, nor shall they ever be driven from it' 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 He said, "Do you bring me such news despite my old age? What kind of good news are you bringing me?" 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60
