The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 They will be told: "Enter it in peace and security." 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 and [also,] that the suffering which I shall impose [on sinners] will indeed be a suffering most grievous. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 He said, "Do you bring me such news despite my old age? What kind of good news are you bringing me?" 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said, 'We have been sent unto a people of sinners, 58 All except the household of Lut; surely we are going to deliver all of them. 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
