Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They (the angels) said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners). 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
