And when the sent angels came to the house of Lut. 61 He said, "Indeed, you are people unknown." 62 They replied, "We have come to you about the matter which the (unbelievers) have rejected. 63 and we are bringing thee the certainty [of its fulfilment]: for, behold, we are speaking the truth indeed. 64 so leave with your family some time in the latter part of the night, and walk behind them. Let none of you look back. Go where you are commanded." 65 And [through Our messengers] We revealed unto him this decree: "The last remnant of those [sinners] shall be wiped out in the morn." 66 And the people of the city came rejoicing. 67 He said: Surely these are my guests, therefore do not disgrace me, 68 Fear Allah and do not disgrace me' 69 They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people?" 70 He said: these are my daughters, if act ye must. 71 By your life, [O Muhammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly. 72 Then the shout took hold of them at the sunrise. 73 and We turned those [sinful towns] upside down, and rained down upon them stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained. 74 Surely, in that there are signs for those who contemplate. 75 surely it is on a way yet remaining; 76 surely in that is a sign for believers. 77 AND THE DWELLERS of the wooded dales [of Madyan, too,] were inveterate evildoers, 78 So We punished them too. They are both situated by the highway, clearly visible. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
