And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 and so the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at early morn, 83 and that which they had earned did not help them. 84 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with Truth. Surely the Hour will come. So, (O Muhammad), do graciously overlook them (despite their misdeeds). 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 even as We had sent warning to those who had divided their religion into fragments; 90 who have broken the Koran into parts, 91 By your Lord We shall question them one and all 92 About their deeds. 93 So declare to them what We have enjoined, and turn away from idolaters. 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 who assert that there are, side by side with God, other divine powers as well: for in time they will come to know [the truth]. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 When (you feel so) glorify your Lord with His praise and prostrate yourself before Him, 98 and worship thy Sustainer till death comes to thee. 99
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
