The people of Al-Hijr denied Our apostles; 80 We brought them signs, but they turned away. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Stretch not thine eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy; and do not sorrow for them, and lower thy wing unto the believers, 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 But, by thy Sustainer! [On the Day of Judgment] We shall indeed call them to account, one and all, 92 concerning what they have been doing. 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers 95 and believe other things to be equal to God. They will soon know the truth. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
