And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 for We did vouchsafe them Our messages, but they obstinately turned their backs upon them 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 the blast overtook them early one morning. 83 All that they had acquired was of no avail to them. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them save with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming. So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator of all things, the Knowing. 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 And say: Lo! I, even I, am a plain warner, 89 even as We had sent warning to those who had divided their religion into fragments; 90 And severed their Scripture into fragments. 91 So, by your Lord, We would most certainly question them all, 92 About what they used to do. 93 So shout that thou art commanded and turn thou away from the idolaters. 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. 98 and worship thy Sustainer till death comes to thee. 99
