The dwellers in El-Hijr cried lies to the Envoys. 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 But the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the morning hour, 83 And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)! 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated, and the mighty Koran. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 Those who made the Quran into shreds. 91 so by your Lord, We will question them all 92 about what they did. 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 And indeed We know that you are disheartened by their speech. 97 but extol thou thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise Him, and be of those who prostrate themselves [before Him] in adoration, 98 and worship thy Sustainer till death comes to thee. 99
