And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 And We brought Our signs unto them, yet they were averting themselves therefrom. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 We did not create the heavens and the earth, and what is between them except in truth. The Hour is sure to come, therefore, forgive them with a gracious pardon. 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 Now by thy Lord, We shall surely question them all together 92 About all what they used to do. 93 Preach what you have been commanded to and stay away from the pagans. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 We certainly know that their statements sorely grieve you. 97 but extol thou thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise Him, and be of those who prostrate themselves [before Him] in adoration, 98 And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain. 99
