And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
