And those that emigrated in God's cause after they were wronged -- We shall surely lodge them in this world in a goodly lodging, and the wage of the world to come is greater, did they but know; 41 even such men as are patient, and put their trust in their Lord. 42 And We sent not (as Our messengers) before thee other than men whom We inspired - Ask the followers of the Remembrance if ye know not! - 43 [We sent them] with clear proofs and written ordinances. And We revealed to you the message that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought. 44 Can, then, they who devise evil schemes ever feel sure that God will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that suffering will not befall them without their perceiving whence [it came]? 45 Or that He will not seize them as they move about, and they will not be able to elude (His grasp); 46 Or He may seize them by diminishing their portion. Yet your Lord is compassionate and kind. 47 Have they not observed things that Allah has created, (how) their shadows incline to the right and to the left, making prostration unto Allah, and they are lowly? 48 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth, the cattle and the angels prostrate themselves before God without pride. 49 They all revere their Lord, high above them, and they do all that they are commanded. ۩ 50
