۞ Allah has commanded: "Do not take two gods; for He is but One God. So fear Me alone." 51 And His is all that is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him [alone] obedience is always due: will you, then, pay reverence to aught but Him? 52 Whatsoever blessing you have, it comes from God; then when affliction visits you it is unto Him that you groan. 53 Yet when He removes the evil from you, lo! a party of you associate others with their Lord; 54 that they may show ingratitude for what We gave them. So, take your pleasure, you shall soon know. 55 And they assign a portion of that which We have given them unto what they know not. By Allah! but ye will indeed be asked concerning (all) that ye used to invent. 56 They attribute daughters to God, the glorious, but for themselves whatsoever they please. 57 And when a daughter is announced to one of them his face becomes black and he is full of wrath. 58 They try to hide themselves from the people because of the disgrace of such news. Will they keep their new born despite the disgrace or bury it alive? How sinful is their Judgment! 59 For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the description of evil; and for Allah is the highest attribute. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise. 60
