۞ Surely Allah enjoins justice, kindness and the doing of good to kith and kin, and forbids all that is shameful, evil and oppressive. He exhorts you so that you may be mindful. 90 Fulfil the Covenant of Allah when ye have entered into it, and break not your oaths after ye have confirmed them; indeed ye have made Allah your surety; for Allah knoweth all that ye do. 91 Do not be like the lady behind the spinning wheel who has broken the yarn by pulling it with unnecessary force. You must not consider your oaths as means of deceit to benefit one party and incur loss upon the other. God tests your faith by your oaths. He will make clear to you who was right and who was wrong on the Day of Judgment. 92 And if Allah please He would certainly make you a single nation, but He causes to err whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases; and most certainly you will be questioned as to what you did. 93 Do not take oaths to deceive each other, lest your foot should slip after its firmness, lest you should taste evil, for you barred others from the Path of Allah, and lest a mighty punishment awaits you. 94 Do not sell the covenant of Allah for a trifling price. What is with Allah is better for you if you but knew. 95 What you have shall pass away, but what is with God is lasting. We will certainly give those who are patient their reward according to the best of their actions. 96 Whoever does good whether male or female and he is a believer, We will most certainly make him live a happy life, and We will most certainly give them their reward for the best of what they did. 97 When you read the Quran, seek God's protection from Satan, the rejected one. 98 Satan has certainly no authority over the believers who have trust in their Lord. 99 he has power only over those who are willing to follow him and associate others with God. 100
