And now that We replace one message by another - since God is fully aware of what He bestows from on high, step by step - they [who deny the truth] are wont to say: "Thou but inventest it!" Nay, but most of them do not understand it! 101 Say, [O Muhammad], "The Pure Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to the Muslims." 102 Surely We know well that they say about you: "It is only a human being who teaches him," (notwithstanding) that he whom they maliciously hint at is of foreign tongue, while this (Qur'an) is plain Arabic speech. 103 Those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah, Allah does not guide them for them is a painful punishment. 104 It is those who believe not in the Signs of Allah, that forge falsehood: it is they who lie! 105 He who disbelieves in Allah after his having believed, not he who is compelled while his heart is at rest on account of faith, but he who opens (his) breast to disbelief-- on these is the wrath of Allah, and they shall have a grievous chastisement. 106 That is because they love the life of this world more than the Hereafter; and Allah does not guide those who are ungrateful to Allah for His favours. 107 These are the ones whose hearts, ears, and eyes Allah has sealed; and they are the neglectful. 108 without a doubt, in the world to come they will be the losers. 109 ۞ Those who left their homes for the cause of God after they had been persecuted, strove hard for His cause and exercised patience should know (even though they had verbally renounced their faith) that your Lord is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 110
