The day We shall summon all men with their leaders, whosoever is given his record in his right hand will be able to read his account, and none will be wronged the breadth of a thread. 71 Whoever is blind* in this life will be blind in the Hereafter, and even more astray. (* To the truth – disbelieving.) 72 They indeed sought to entice you away from what We revealed to you, hoping that you might invent something else in Our name; and then they would have accepted you as a close friend. 73 and had We not confirmed thee, surely thou wert near to inclining unto them a very little; 74 Then [if you had], We would have made you taste double [punishment in] life and double [after] death. Then you would not find for yourself against Us a helper. 75 Indeed they came near to unsettling you, so that they might expel you from the land, but in that case they themselves would not have stayed on for very long after you. 76 [such has been Our] way with all of Our apostles whom We sent before thy time; and no change wilt thou find in Our ways. 77
