Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 Then indeed We shall drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against the Most Beneficent (Allah). 69 for, indeed, We know best as to which of them is most deserving of the fires of hell. 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
