Man says, 'What, when I am dead shall I then be brought forth alive?' 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 And hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who is bent on denying the truth of Our messages and says, "I will surely be given wealth and children"? 77 Has he, perchance, attained to a realm which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception? or has he concluded a covenant with the Most Gracious? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 They have taken other gods instead of Allah that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
