We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
