The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
