Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 But does man not remember that We created him when he was nothing before? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 Moreover, We well know those who most deserve to be burned in hell. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 When Our lucid revelations are read out to them, the infidels say to those who believe: "Which of the two groups is better in standing, and whose company is more excellent?" 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Have you seen him who denies Our revelations, and says: "I will certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 No, indeed! We shall assuredly write down all that he says, and We shall prolong for him the chastisement; 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah's Punishment etc.). 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worship and shall become their adversaries instead. 82
