Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
