Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 On the day when We shall assemble the righteous towards the Most Gracious, as guests. 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
