In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not sent the Quran to make you, (Muhammad), miserable, 2 Except as a reminder for one who fears. 3 It is a revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). 5 Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and whatsoever is between them, and whatsoever is beneath the sod. 6 And if you speak aloud – so He surely knows the secret and that which is more concealed. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached you? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: 'Stay here, for I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a lighted torch or find at the fire guidance' 10 When he came to it, a voice called out: "Moses! 11 "Verily! I am your Lord! So take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you. Therefore, listen to what shall be revealed. 13 I am God. There is no deity save Me; so worship Me alone, and say your prayers in My remembrance. 14 Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve). 15 Do not let anyone who does not believe in it and follows his own desires turn you away from it and so bring you to ruin." 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 He said: This is my staff whereon I lean, and wherewith I bear down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses. 18 He said: Cast it down, O Musa! 19 and he cast it down, and behold it was a serpent sliding. 20 Allah said: take hold of it, and fear not; We shall restore it to its former state. 21 "Now draw thy hand close to thy side: It shall come forth white (and shining), without harm (or stain),- as another Sign,- 22 We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 Go to Firon, surely he has exceeded all limits. 24

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
