T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 but only as a reminder to him who tears, 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Beneficent God is dominant over the Throne (of the realm). 5 To Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth, and all whatever is between them, and all whatever is beneath this wet soil. 6 Whether you speak aloud [or in a low voice], He hears all, for He knows your secrets and what is even more hidden. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached you? 9 When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire." 10 When he came close to it, a voice called out, "Moses, 11 I am thy Lord; put off thy shoes; thou art in the holy valley, Towa. 12 I have chosen you. Therefore, listen to what shall be revealed. 13 Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming; I would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours. 15 Do not let those who disbelieve in it and follow their desires bar you from it, or you will perish. 16 And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 "It's my staff," he answered; "I lean on it, and fell leaves for my goats with it, and I have other uses for it." 18 He said: "Moses, throw it down." 19 He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. 20 He said, “Pick it up and do not fear; We shall restore it to its former state.” 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 That We may go on showing you Our greater signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed." 24
