He said: O my Lord! Expand my breast for me, 25 and ease my task for me. 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 Aaron, my brother; 30 to support me. 31 And share my task, 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 and remember you often. 34 "For Thou art He that (ever) regardeth us." 35 [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. 36 We have again bestowed Our favour upon you. 37 When We inspired to your mother what We inspired, 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 for I have chosen thee for Mine Own service. 41 Go, thou and thy brother, with My tokens, and be not faint in remembrance of Me. 42 Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 Answered He: "Fear not! Verily, I shall be with you two, hearing and seeing [all]. 46 Go, then; you two unto him and say, 'Behold, we are apostles sent by thy Sustainer: let, then, the children of Israel go with us, and cause them not to suffer [any longer]. We have now come unto thee with a message from thy Sustainer; and [know that His] peace shall be [only] on those who follow [His] guidance: 47 'Truly, it has been revealed to us that the torment will be for him who denies [believes not in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messengers, etc.], and turns away.'(from the truth and obedience of Allah)" 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each (created) thing its form and nature, and further, gave (it) guidance." 50 Pharaoh said, 'And what of the former generations?' 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 Consume them as food or for grazing your cattle. In this there is evidence (of the existence of God) for the people of reason". 54
