He said: O my Lord! Expand my breast for me, 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 so that they may understand my speech; 28 Appoint for me a henchman from my folk, 29 Aaron my brother 30 Strengthen me through him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 And remember You much. 34 Verily, You have always watched over us." 35 The Lord said, "Moses, your request is granted. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 Remember when We inspired your mother with a certain inspiration 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 when thy sister went out, saying, "Shall I point you to one to have charge of him?" So We returned thee to thy mother that she might rejoice, and not sorrow. Then thou slewest; a living soul, and We delivered thee out of grief, and We tried thee with many trials. Many years among the people of Midian thou didst sojourn, then camest hither, Moses, according to a decree. 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 "Go, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance. 42 Go both to Firon, surely he has become inordinate; 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. 46 So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance. 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 He said, 'Our Lord is He who gave everything its creation, then guided it.' 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54
