The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
