Do not those who deny the truth see that the heavens and the earth were joined together and that We then split them asunder? And that We have made every living thing out of water? Will they still not believe? 30 And We have placed on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with them, and We placed therein broad highways for them to pass through, that they may be guided. 31 And We made the sky a well-protected roof. Still they turn away from His signs! 32 It is He who created the night and the day, the sun and the moon, each swimming in a sky. 33 And We granted not to any human being immortality before you (O Muhammad SAW), then if you die, would they live forever? 34 Every soul has to experience the taste of death. We test you with both hardships and blessings. In the end you will all return to Us. 35 When the unbelievers see you, they take you only for mockery, saying: 'Is this he who talks about your gods' While they are unbelievers in the Remembrance of the Merciful. 36 Man is hasty by nature. I shall certainly show you My Signs. Do not ask Me to be hasty. 37 They say: 'If you are truthful, when will this promise come' 38 If only the Unbelievers knew (the time) when they will not be able to ward off the fire from their faces, nor yet from their backs, and (when) no help can reach them! 39 Aye! it would come upon them on a sudden and shall dumbfound them; they shall not be able to avert it, nor shall they be respited. 40 And indeed the Noble Messengers before you were mocked at, but their mockery ruined the mockers themselves. 41
