۞ We bestowed aforetime on Abraham his rectitude of conduct, and well were We acquainted with him. 51 Abraham asked his father and his people, "What are these statues which you worship?" 52 They replied, "We found our fathers worshipping them". 53 Said he: "Indeed, you and your forefathers have obviously gone astray!" 54 They said, "Have you brought us the Truth, or are you one of those who jest?" 55 He said, "Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, He Who created them (from nothing): and I am a witness to this (Truth). 56 “And, by oath of Allah, I shall seek to harm your idols after you have gone away and turned your backs.” 57 So he broke them to pieces, (all) except the biggest of them, that they might turn to it. 58 [When they saw what had happened,] they said: "Who has done this to our gods? Verily, one of the worst wrongdoers is he!" 59 They said: We heard a youth speak of them, who is called Ibrahim. 60 They said: "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may testify." 61 'Abraham' they said, 'was it you who did this to our gods' 62 He said: But this, their chief hath done it. So question them, if they can speak. 63 And so they turned upon one another, saying, "Behold, it is you who are doing wrong." 64 Then they reversed themselves, [saying], "You have already known that these do not speak!" 65 He said, "Do you, instead of God, worship things that can neither harm nor benefit you?" 66 Fie upon you and that you serve apart from God! Do you not understand?' 67 They said: 'Burn him and help your gods, if you are going to do anything' 68 But We said, "Fire! Be cool and a means of safety for Abraham." 69 And they desired a war on him, but We made them the greatest losers. 70 We took Abraham and Lot safely to the land in which We had sent blessings to the worlds. 71 And We gave him Ishaq and Yaqoub, a son's son, and We made (them) all good. 72 And We made them Imams who guided (people) by Our command, and We revealed to them the doing of good and the keeping up of prayer and the giving of the alms, and Us (alone) did they serve; 73 We bestowed upon Lot sound judgement and knowledge, and We delivered him from the city that was immersed in foul deeds. They were indeed a wicked people, exceedingly disobedient. 74 and We admitted him into Our mercy; he was of the righteous. 75

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
