Al-Waaqe'ah 2 of 3
These (people of the right hand) consist of many from the ancient 39 And a numerous company from among the last. 40 As for the People on the Left: how miserable will be the People on the Left! 41 In hot wind and boiling water, 42 and under the shadow of black smoke, 43 Neither cool nor beneficial. 44 Lo! heretofore they were effete with luxury 45 And they persisted in the great violation. 46 And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 47 and perhaps, too, our forebears of old?" 48 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Lo! those of old and those of later time 49 will indeed be gathered together at an appointed time on a Day known [only to God]: 50 Then verily ye, O ye erring, denying people. 51 you shall eat (the fruit) of the Tree of Zakkum. 52 and fill your bellies with it, 53 And shall be drinkers thereon of boiling water. 54 "Indeed ye shall drink like diseased camels raging with thirst!" 55 Such will be their welcome on the Day of Judgement. 56 We created you, why will you not believe! 57 So what is your opinion regarding the semen you discharge? 58 Is it you who create it (i.e. make this semen into a perfect human being), or are We the Creator? 59 We have destined death for you and no one can challenge Us 60 from replacing you by others like yourselves or changing your forms and re-creating you in forms that you know nothing of. 61 And [since] you are indeed aware of the [miracle of your] coming into being in the first instance - why, then, do you not bethink yourselves [of Us]? 62 Have you ever considered the seed which you cast upon the soil? 63 Cause it ye to grow, or are We the Grower? 64 If We will, We would make it broken stubble and you would remain wondering, 65 "We are ruined, 66 Rather, we have been prevented' 67 Did you cast a good look at the water that you drink? 68 Is it you who cause it to descend from the clouds, or do We? 69 Had We wanted, We could have made it salty. Why then do you not give thanks? 70 Tell Me! The fire which you kindle, 71 Is it you that produce the trees for it, or are We the producers? 72 It is We who have made it as a reminder and a means of comfort for the people. 73 Glorify, then, (O Prophet), the name of your Great Lord. 74

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
