[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 In fact We brought the Truth to them, and indeed they are liars. 90 No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him! 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92
