And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 But they say the same as the ancients said, 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say: Whose is the earth, and whoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: how then are ye turned away? 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is exalted above all that which they associate with Him. 92
