SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
God the Almighty always says the truth.
