Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah – of which he does not have any proof – his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
