Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 And the ones whose scales prove light it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
God the Almighty always says the truth.
