Say: 'Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
