Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
