Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
