The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
