The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
